Fieldwood Energy E&P Mexico S. de R.L. of C.V. (“Fieldwood México”) is committed to protecting the Operational and Industrial Safety, the Health of our employees, our contractors and the Environment where we operate.

To satisfy these commitments, Fieldwood México anticipates that its employees and its vendors, suppliers and contractors (hereinafter, “Contractors”) comply with the following:

  • All leaders must demonstrate their commitment to safety and environmental protection in their decisions and actions.
  • No business objective will allow safety to be compromised.
  • All work will be carried out in compliance with the Health, Safety and Environmental Administration System (SASSA) and Safe Work Practices (PTS) of Fieldwood Mexico.
  • Every employee and Contractor must take responsibility for safety.
  • Safety and Environmental Issues must be identified, evaluated and resolved immediately.
  • All employees and Contractors must report any incident, injury or illness as soon as practicable.
  • All jobs must be appropriately planned, identifying and mitigating risks before starting work (Job Safety Analysis).
  • Each person should feel empowered to raise concerns without fear of retaliation or intimidation. Everyone has the Authority to Stop Work for Health, Safety and Environment issues and this is expected to be enforced when required.
  • Trust and respect between each other must be demonstrated to everyone in the organization.
  • All work will be carried out in accordance with the standards, rules and regulations of Health, Safety and Environment, whether federal, state, municipal, or any other type that is recognized by the industry.

Authority to stop work (ADT)

Fieldwood México is committed to providing a safe work environment. All personnel have the responsibility to stop and refuse to do work if there is an imminent risk or danger. Under NO circumstances will there be repercussions towards personnel who exercise the authority to stop work.

Safe Work Practices

These practices are part of Fieldwood’s Health, Safety, and Environmental Management system and are designed to provide guidelines to minimize the risks associated with operation activities, maintenance and modifications to the handling of materials and substances that could affect safety, health and environment.

Fieldwood México’s Safe Work Practices must be used continuously for all projects and daily offshore operations, and apply to all people at Fieldwood México facilities, including its own employees, contractors, subcontractors, service providers. service, suppliers and visitors
